Viewer Download

The Hippo OpenSim Viewer provides our customers the easiest way to connect and the best virtual experience in an OpenSim platform. Access to the AH grid is not restricted to only those people using the Hippo viewer. Users are free to use any viewer (such as Emerald, or Imprudence) that is compatible with an OpenSim based grid.

Select the operating system that you use to get the proper download of the Hippo viewer for your system.

OS Type	Instructions	Download
Windows	Download and install the AH viewer. Then use your avatar username and password to login to the Avatar Hangout. If you have any trouble with your viewer download or login you can contact us instantly via Skype. Our names are "Nyola Skytower", "andrewhellershanks", "Velocity Boo", or "Split Prim". Linux	Once you have the viewer installed open it and at the bottom of the screen click on the "Grids" tab. Then click on the drop down box next to Select a grid. From this list select Avatar Hangout then click on the Default button to set Avatar Hangout as your default grid.	Download
Mac	To add Avatar Hangout you must follow these simple instructions. Once you have the viewer installed open it and at the bottom of the screen click on the "Grids" tab. Next you will need to click on the Add button. Then you will need to enter the entire url shown in the box below in the line for Login URI: Once you have completed this step press the "Get Grid Info" button. This will populate the rest of the settings automatically. When it completes, press "Apply" and then press the "Default" button to make Avatar Hangout Grid your default grid with this viewer. Now press"Ok" and you should now be set to enter the information you signed up with and login!	Download

Should the automated loading of the grid info fail, simply copy what you see in the image below into your viewer.
